The Executive Members of the Senior Staff Association, SSA, Radio Nigeria Enugu Chapter, have called on members to uphold the core values of the association in their offices and workplaces.
They made the call during a sensitization visit to Radio Nigeria Voice FM, Nsukka.
Speaking during the visit, the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Comrade Ikechukwu Agu, said the purpose of the visit was to familiarize the executives with staff of Voice FM and sensitize both old and new members on the activities, benefits and values of the association.
Comrade Agu urged members to be punctual at work, remain good ambassadors of the association and maintain a cordial working relationship with management.
Also speaking, the Assistant Secretary of the Association, Comrade Geraldine Ani, explained that the Senior Staff Association is not a pressure group, but an association that negotiates and dialogues with government in the interest of its members.
On his part, a member of the Association, Comrade Uchechukwu Ojimba, highlighted some of the benefits of belonging to the union.
He said the association is open to staff from Grade Level Eight and above, and encouraged eligible members of Voice FM to identify with the association and take advantage of its benefits.
In her welcome address, the General Manager of Voice FM Nsukka, Mrs Chinyere Obi, welcomed the SSA executives and wished them a successful visit.
The visit featured a question-and-answer session and the presentation of a gift by the association to the General Manager of Voice FM Nsukka.
