Mothering Sunday Umuchima

Christian mother’s have been enjoined to allow Jesus to follow them in their journey of parenting.
The Parish Priest of the Church of immaculate conception Catholic Church Umuchima Reverend Father Donatus Dozie gave the advice during the homily at the holy Mass to mark this year’s mothering Sunday.
Reverend Father Dozie while explaining how Christ followed the disciples yet they could not recognize him except at the breaking of bread, related it to Christians especially mother’s who only go to church, listen to the wordof God but the real presence of God is lagging in their lives and family.
He admonished Christians not to allow fustration selfishness lust and materialism prevent them from seeing God’s love around in the gift of mothers.
Father Dozie called on mother’s to be focused especially to the challenges of modern day parenting.
