Chairman Red cross society of Nigeria Imo state chapter, Chief Greg Okemiri has challenged members of the public to join the trend of uniting humanity.
Chief Okemiri made the call during this year’s celebration of International red cross day in owerri the Imo state capital.
According to him, it is a shared responsibility of every one within our society to brace up to the challenge of making the society a safe and better place.
While speaking on the theme of the celebration, ” United for Humanity, Chief Okemiri noted that the shared purpose for compassion ignites the initiative to care for the vulnerable in the society.
He therefore reminded members of the red cross society to always exhibit discipline, accountability and to remain consistent in their selfless service to humanity.
