Mrs Nonye Soludo advocates human development investment for a prosperous society

The Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has described investing in human development as the foundation for building a strong healthy, and prosperous society.
Speaking during an empowerment programme on Healthy Living powered by her office at the Banquet Hall of Government’ House in Awka, Mrs Soloudo highlighted the power of strategic partnerships in driving sustainable community development.
She described the programme as a reaffirmation of the belief that healthy individuals build healthy communities, which in turn create prosperous societies.
Mrs Soludo highlighted different interventions by the initiative, to include the distribution of over 350,000 sanitary to schoolgirls in 350 schools, the provision of more than 25,000 hybrid non-GMO seed packs to households and communities.
She encouraged the beneficiaries to utilise the items received as tools for personal growth and community transformation.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent Uche Ndeke reports that additionally, 1,500 persons benefited from Food Bank Pack programme of the wife of the Governor during the occasion bringing the total number of direct beneficiaries to 1,950.
